22 years ago, minutes after my daughter was born the doc walked in and told us that she had Downs Syndrome. What an immediate conflicted sense of happiness and worry. After several follow up tests, it was determined that she in fact did not have Downs. My daughter does have special needs and I wouldn’t change her for the world. She’s the happiest go lucky girl you’ll ever meet and never without a smile. God chose us to be her parents and what’s more of a miracle is that He chose to give her to us. No one knows what the future holds for any child, healthy or sick, when born and we should all be so lucky to experience the joy that I have in these past 22 years.

God bless you all! Give that sweet girl a hug from us!
Thank you and I see that I somehow posted this to the wrong post! 🤦♂️
I've done that before, too 😉 Your daughter sounds like a great blessing.
Thank you and yes indeed, she is.
No worries! I appreciated the post very, very much!
