Why does one see the tops of tall buildings only far away over a 24-mile-long body of water? As one travels across the water and approaches the buildings, why do they start to see the middle of the buildings and start to see treetops as well? Why as they approach further do they see more and more of the bottoms of the buildings and trees and and start to see the even shorter things around those objects? Why does the opposite phenomenon happen when one travels away from them?
For one thing everyone would realize that we don't live on a globe

Where is the curve? Now you have to rely on NASA for that? Lol
