[EDIT: Poll Test completed. More info soon will be in sticky comment below]
Unfortunately we don’t have a Poll Thread option but there is still a way to kinda make one with the current tools on hand.
1- start a Text thread
2- add your title, body text, and, most importantly, your poll options in the body.
3- create comments as your poll choices. 1st comment OPTION 1, 2nd comment OPTION 2, etc. See comments for format example.
4- count the upvotes on your option comments only. things will get messy because people upvote all comments, but if you clearly distinguished comments as OPTION 1- this, OPTION 2- that, etc, then you shouldn’t have a problem being able to tally everything.
5- create an additional comment where users can leave comments and other opinions.
6- add/edit a flair as POLL THREAD and enjoy!
OPTIONAL- Create a "Participation" comment where every user who participates upvotes the comment. This is good because it will give you an idea of how many users took part of your poll. I personally dont add it because it adds complexity, but there are certain circumstances where a user would like to know how many users interacted with the poll.
PLEASE REFRIAN FROM COMMENT/REPLYING TO THREAD OR POLL OPTIONS! PLEASE TRY TO COMMENT/REPLY ONLY IN THE DESIGNATED COMMENT AREA BELOW
How to distinguish comments as green? Use an asterisk BEFORE and AFTER the word or sentence(s) you'd like to distinguish. Using 2 asterisks before and after (totaling 4 asterisks) will make text bold Like this
Why is my text formating messed up? To start a new line, pres the ENTER/RETURN KEY TWICE. For some reason, pressing the enter once doesn't seem to do anything and makes all your text in basically one line. Remember... Double Spacing to start new line.

Ok, so first unofficial poll. Remember, JUST UPVOTE the comment which corresponds with the option you pick. Comment ONLY in the "Designated Comments" comment by replying to that comment.
What are you most excited about with the breaking hunter Biden laptop habbenings?
Option 1 Wanna see him get indicted for CP
Option 2 Wanna see the shady emails
Option 3 screw the laptop, Ukraine/Russia is where it’s at
Not the best poll, rather, I’m just testing it. Let’s see how things work out
P.S. it’s best not to comment in the poll threads to help keep things clean.
P.S.S. If a mod creates a LOCKED poll, you can STILL reply to the comment created by the mod.
Go ahead and comment/reply opinions and improvements in this comment thread here
Since we can comment on the poll (good idea since we like to toss ideas around with others), I’d suggest an “Other (leave a comment/reason)” option be included in your main options.
For example, in this particular test poll, I’d sure like to see him (and others) finally indicted, would like the emails to get out to the public and don’t feel any pressing need to focus exclusively on one happening or another (multitasking works just fine). What I’d really like from this laptop-from-hell exposure is for it to have an impact on waking up the brainwashed leftists (and others) to start destroying their false beliefs that the Potatus family are good people, that our three-letter-agencies are working to protect decent Americans and that their media tells them the truth.
With an Other+reason option you, as OP, could edit the post and add (to your options) whatever seems to be gaining traction.
Just mho.
Edit: I realize this section allows for comments, but if an option that was overlooked (or otherwise not included in the initial poll) is “strong enough” I’d like to see it at the top. I, personally, read through the bottom of almost every post I choose to read, but I’m guessing many don’t have the time or inclination to do so.
There is a comment here comment listed to offer opinions. Though, I wouldn’t want people commenting under the options because then it would disorganize the whole thread
Yes, I edited my initial comment on this with an explanation. Your response came in before the edit was completed, apparently.
I understand it can get unwieldy. Then shills can push topic-sliding, etc. My issue was in placement.
For example, in this poll, I wouldn’t have voted at all because, while I agree with two options and disagree with one, none of them are the real reason why I want this issue to gain traction.
It’s just my opinion. My intent is not to be critical, but something I’ve come across in viewing other online polls. Thank you for your efforts and I think soliciting feedback from the community for the poll topic in general before putting it in place is a good idea, too.
