I used to be so obsessed with NVidia, trying to get my hands on the latest graphics card all the time. Life seemed simple when I knew less. Now it's all woke and gone to shit.
When that was true for me, each generation of graphics cards was a clear step up from the previous generation.
Think stepping up from a flip phone to an iphone compared to the specs for an iphone 5 to an iphone 6 where the difference isn't really noticeable unless comparing an old device on its last legs to the brand new one.
