I noticed with all the Will Smith coverage this week that several of the Oscar elites were wearing a forest green color at the ceremony, including Will Smith's master, Jada. Most of the others were wearing solid black, which I haven't seen them do in a few years. (A lot of the women were also wearing loose bows around their necks, which seems like an odd fashion trend.) Beyonce and her sister did an opening number in green as well, although their shade of green was a bright lime green. (Beyonce's daughter's name is Blue Ivy, too, which is interesting since "ivy" is green.) Here are some examples of green throughout Oscars night, if you care to see:

Anyway, there's always some meaning in the colors these freaks wear, but what really got me was this:
The timing of Prince Philip's service is also interesting, considering that he died a year ago, although I know they'll claim it was coof-related. They just happen to have it during Oscars time?
The color is called Edinburgh green. There is a castle called Edinburgh Castle in a place called Castle Rock. Seems worth mentioning.
The Queen also wore a "scarab brooch" to the memorial service, a gift from Philip. Do these people ever actually die or just live through the centuries?
What's going on with the color green? I know there's been a lot of talk about the green castle lately, so is this related? Just food for thought.
Edited to add another thought. The yellow and blue we see related to coof coverage and Ukraine coverage makes green.
Green = the color of money, envy, luck, fertility
