I had a really bad episode of sleep paralysis last night and it felt demonic in nature. It happens to me once or twice every year it seems. As darkness starts to settle in for the night, I’m getting scared to go to sleep in a little while. If you’re reading this can you pray for me? Thank you

Hugs and prayers, MMM.
For a couple of years, I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air. It was very frightening. Hated going to sleep as well.
Maria Goretti's suggestion of saying, “Jesus Christ help me” might alleviate your panic. I also ask for St Michael's help.
Yeah, once it happens, I get scared around bed time until I forget about the episode. The its like maybe by thinking about it right before bed, im actually causing it lol. I'm just going to take the advice from this thread and pray and put the audio Bible on while I sleep. I truly believe that all of your guys' prayers will keep me protected
I used to have them all the time too. I wanted to call out for Jesus' help but was blocked somehow and couldn't get it out until I was already under attack. So I started falling asleep repeating a short prayer, "Jesus help me" "Jesus I trust in you" or similar. Repeating it as I fell asleep made it a lot easier to come to mind at the very beginning of an attack and would stop them immediately. Praying for you!
Hugs, hope you had a goodnight's sleep.
I honestly really did! I said a prayer before bed and put the Bible audio stream on the tv and slept like a baby
YAY- so happy for you. Good sleep is vital for good health!
Maybe you had sleep apnea.
It's called paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea - which is sorta kinda sleep apnea. One cause can be weight but mine is good so it isn't that. My husband and I bought an adjustable bed so that I can sleep slightly elevated and that has helped.
