I had a really bad episode of sleep paralysis last night and it felt demonic in nature. It happens to me once or twice every year it seems. As darkness starts to settle in for the night, I’m getting scared to go to sleep in a little while. If you’re reading this can you pray for me? Thank you

Had this ever since I can remember 3 to 4 times a month. I can make loud grunting sounds and that's about it. Then generally people can shake me out of it. It still scares the shit out of them. What I've noticed now in my middle 50s is that when I force myself to go to sleep when I'm not that tired it happens like clockwork. I think whatever works for one is a good. I don't belive it's demons myself, it's like your motor skills brain falls asleep but your thinking brain doesn't. It does feel like a dark sinister presence I'll admit that, but I think your sleeping brain's imagination goes into overload. Why it's ALWAYS a dark eery feeling is beyond me. I think I'll try calling out to God and give it a go though, anything that that takes it away is a blessing.
Good summary, you can also demand things in that state of mind like "Clarity Now!" To improve your vision. Just be positive and it can be an amazing experience instead of something dreadful.
