Liberals don't completely stop using their brains per say, I'd sooner compare it to a zombification process where they loose much of the functionality of their pre-frontal cortex, higher thinking, etc. in favour of groupthink and obedience to authority.

Also cuckservatives and Rinos can be drones too.
