Snake venom needs to be injected directly into you to work. Do you guys know how much snake venom it would take to be affected from oral ingestion?? You'd be able to physically see it in your water.

I disagree. They're not referring to actual venom milked from Cobras or Kraits. It's genetically altered to mimic the toxins.
