My problem is trusting that platform again. Elon isn't a good guy (he's definitely more smart than good) - and with Dorsey supporting this entire sale - isn't it possible that they are 'reviving' Twitter temporarily, until TruthSocial can be bankrupted in its infancy, after which Twitter goes right back to monopolistic tyranny? It seems like this is really sucking the oxygen out of the TS launch.
I think Dorsey has a redemption story of sorts to tell based on his behavior over time. It seems like things got away from him on this one and it turned into the machine it is. I also agree that this could all be bullshit... but I think it's important that the public sees a stand for freedom of speech. We need people to see strong public support to ensure its survival.
With all that said... I don't think we should trust Elon or Jack. Just like we stand for freedom of speech we should walk away from tyranny and hypocrisy. And the public should see that as well. If this thing turns sour, I'm out.
