As I read several articles today about infant formula shortages, I would like to remind parents that infant formula is made by formula companies. They are big businesses and off shoots of Big Pharma. You are trusting that they would NEVER put anything in formula to harm your child. The sad fact is the testing and development on formulas was done on rats. Your baby is not a rat. There is an increase of childhood leukemia, otitis media (ear infections), eczema, gastroenteritis, obesity with the ingestion of formula. In times of famine, floods and other natural disasters, you might be unable to obtain formula or boil water safely to make the formula. Breastfeeding is natural, the milk is always there at the right temperature and the right nutrients for your child’s age. If you have not received the Covid shot, please consider breastfeeding during these uncertain times (no studies regarding safety or taking the shot during pregnancy or while breastfeeding have been done, but we already know there is an increase in spontaneous abortions and miscarriages if the Covid shot is taken during pregnancy. We also know there is an increase in premature births). It is healthier for your infant and the mother, as well as cost effective. Why pad the pockets of big pharma/business further?
