Now ive never been a religious person, but what has always seemed weird to me is that if there is a heaven and a hell and afterlife is eternal, why in the world would anyone sell their soul and trade 60 years of fame for an eternal afterlife?
Thats just a shit deal.
"This has been the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever." - Elon sitting in hell.
Jesus loves you, friend. There is only one way to Heaven, and that comes through acceptance of Jesus Christ's free gift of salvation.
The devil believes in Jesus, but it takes a personal relationship with him and acceptance of him into your life for your salvation. No amount of works can get you to Heaven - it doesn't matter what kind of life you have lived. Only Christ's blood pays the price for your sin.
Seek him out, friend.
Well all of these celebrities, musicians, socialites, etc openly stating that they had to make a deal with the devil to get famous has pushed me more towards the religious side.
I mean there are a lot of very wealthy and influential people who worship evil, so there has to be an opposite of that right? Ying and yang.
Very much so. As real as the devil and his influence over this world is, the opposite is of course true.
The difference is, we've seen the end of The Book; We know how it all ends, and who wins and who doesn't.
I’m thinking it comes down to those who are so short-sighted that the temptation of instant gratification is too great. Think of it like meth users. They know when they start using meth that their teeth will fall out and they will look like a living zombie, but they only care about today and the temporary high. I’m sure there’s also a touch of narcissism involved in those who make a deal with the devil. They probably think they will somehow be able to talk their way out of it, or that the rules don’t apply to them.
Because they are told hell isn't real. They fail to read the fine print of the contract.
But i mean, if youre at the point where you believe you are making a deal with the devil then they have to know it then.
