His story changed three times.
A. He said he just decided not to.
B. The reporter reminds him he said the security guard instructed him not to.
C. He says the security guard instructed other people not to, then claims he said that to 3 to 5 other people.
So, no straight story. The shooter, he claimed however, was a “genius.”
