...maybe she's mad at the broken vow to love honor and cherish all the days of their lives? To forsake all others?
I didnt read the article but if my husband who gave me 5 children broke my heart for sex with 20 year Olds id be more than upset-devastated. Money is no compensation for that kind of hurt if she loved him. If she married for money I guess it's different but who knows. After 5 kids she may have fallen.
Not that this kind of thing is a big deal when compared to public discourse over our freedoms. But we talk about breaking down traditional families and values on this forum. People shouldn't marry who can't honor a vow.
You are entitled to have your own interpretation of marriage but that doesn’t mean that everyone else should view marriage the same way you do. Many marriages are arranged marriages, marriages for business reasons, the joining of families etc. no one balked when Jacqueline Kennedy married Onassis and their pre-nup stipulated that he was permitted to have affairs and mistresses and that Jackie had to have sexual relations with him twice a year. If everyone thought the same as you about marriage there would never be any divorces. For what it’s worth though I feel the same as you and I take my marriage vows very seriously.
My point was I didn't know if she thought it was a love match then yeah she'd be bitter. If it was arranged than it is different and I'm sure they didn't make those vows? I said rignt in my comment I didn't read the article and didn't know. I meant to be replying t o one of the commenters on a different angle than just a money whore lookiing for more, but messed up and hit the wrong reply.
Anyway you might sell someone down the river who did that to you because of scorned love...hell hath no fury...
