I can’t find a solid source. Some say he said it to “The Australian” news outlet. I found another reference to a German “Bild”. Possibly in the year 2014.

The fact check sites say it’s false, but they don’t provide anything further. It could be memory holed, or too hard to find for a mobile pleb like me.
