All, my friend in NH is a former Army Ranger who was diagnosed with MS about 15 -20 years ago. His once frenetic pace has been slowed to what a casual observer might view as normal. On a recent visit to CA, I got to see it firsthand. Even getting in and out of a golf cart taxed him. It pains me to see this so I've been trying to help him in much the same way we try to 'red pill' those that are asleep. It's out way of my lane, so I'm trying to awaken him somewhat passively.
The way the world is currently run is simple: The bankers will ensure that we stay in debt. Big Pharma will ensure that we stay sick. Weapons manufacturers will ensure that we keep going to war. The media will ensure that we are prevented from knowing the truth. And the government will ensure all of this is done legally. Knowing this, I've been doing research into the variety of health advice that's offered on this site. As the cause of MS is still unknown and there is no cure, an emerging body of evidence points to a causal link between parasitic infestations and multiple sclerosis. This makes me wonder if Ivermectin might help his cause, along with a regimen of D3, C, zinc, quercetin, K2 and turmeric.
Has anyone had success or known about a successful treatment program that has shown promise for MS outside the reach of Big Pharma?
Thanks for your time.
Carnivore diet seems to help my symptoms considerably.
I also take lipsomal glutathione from Aurora and also their lipsomal high dose vitamin C. I just bought an ultrasonic cleaner so I can make my own.
Vitamin D is also very important. You probably already know MS is associated with chronically low vitamin D. My body doesn't seem to process it very efficiently. I have to take A LOT to maintain a normal blood level. ~10,000 IUs a day. I have yet to try a lipsomal vitamin D formulation might be more absorbable. I take Life Extension currently because it comes with BOTH types of vitamin K you need with D and a small amount of iodine which is also important.
Magnesium and zinc obviously.
You may need to supplement other electrolytes as well.
I use "lite salt" which is half potassium and half sodium. Helps muscle cramps and twitches considerably and reduces the nasty episodes of brain fog I get. Be careful with the potassium. It would be hard to take too much, but not THAT hard. Great way to die of sudden low blood pressure, which is MSers are already prone too.
You'll never accidentally take too much by just sprinkling it on your food. It would be too salty/gross. But if you're just banging that shit down in a gulp .... that's where it it'll get yah.
If you don't do keto or carnivore I would HIGHLY encourage you to eat LOW GLYCEMIC.
Train your body to have an even blood sugar.
It will reduce migraines and optic neuritis if you get that symptom and helps my horrible coordination during flare ups.
...
I also take Ivermectin weekly. Not sure if that's helping but I feel like it's helping.
I avoid drugs like fluvoxamine and other anti-depressents ... I had 3 suicide attempts as a teen and I can't say enough how much these drugs fucked me up and made me worse in every way. I haven't been on psych meds for 10 years and I HIGHLY recommend avoiding these dangerous and psysiologically addictive drugs. There's a reason almost all school shooters are on one of these.
I know a lot of other MSers on anti-depressents. They aren't doing as well as me and I used to be worse than them! I believe this is a big reason why. They chased managing their symptoms and sacrificed systemic function making everything worse in the long run.
Other people have mentioned CBD. EXCELLENT for me. In my opinion, and this isn't necessarily a popular opinion, CBD does NOT work very well by itself. You must take it with THC, it can be a MINIMAL amount of THC, even a 20:1 ratio will work. If you keep the ratio high enough, and don't get over-zealous with your THC the CBD will keep you extremely clear headed.
I don't really care for getting high that often. Sometimes but often a THC high will flare my symptoms.
CBD with a TINY bit of THC though is like a miracle drug.
It's the ONLY thing I've found helps for some symptoms, especially the migraines. You wouldn't believe the list of drugs I've tried for migraines alone, nevermind all the other MS stuff.
Honestly the basic shit works better than almost everything. Good diet. Get outside. Keep your immune system healthy.
Planning on moving to Houston from Portland. Honestly the lack of legal THC is a major reason I haven't yet. I can grow my own or have it shipped but I don't like the idea of subjecting my life to be ruined just because there alot of people down there that think I'm a durge on society for using it even medically.
Doctors got all kinds a shit they want me to take....
But a dialed-in diet and light exercise and some pretty basic immune/inflammation supplements help more than anything I've tried from them.
Getting lots of sun helps too. It's not just the vitamin D there's something else about it. My flare-ups make bright lights very disorienting and unpleasant. Makes it VERY easy to get migraines. If I can feel one coming on and I feel up to it, I'll go outside and sit in the sun for 10-15 minutes and try to breathe VERY slowly and calm myself like cat, I don't talk to anyone or read anything. I just sit there in the bright warm light and BREATHE. Sometimes it stops the migraines or optic neuritis in it's tracks. Not always. But pretty often. Doesn't work nearly as often if it's inside or if it's cloudy.
Okay I'm starting to repeat myself lol hope this helps a bit!
Oh and get your hormones checked! Many MSers have fucked up hormones and fixing that shit helps A LOT.
If you're a dude get your Testosterone to high-normal levels. Diet and exercise can accomplish this. I just developed my own TRT protocol because my levels were VERY low and the medical school trained doctors have NO idea what the fuck they're doing when it comes to hormones for DUDES they'll get you on a hormone roller coaster of hell. They're too busy fucking up dudes who think they can randomly change their gender than helping dudes who want to function better as they gender they actually are.
Get a blood test and try a few natural remedies before you jump into looking into hormone replacement. It's pretty hard to get off of and it's a legal hassle depending on how you get it.
Unfortunately no doctor will prescribe a LOW dose of LONG acting hormone. They'll give you a shit ton at once and rarely or they'll give you too much of short acting version with bad biological timing.
... sorry that was long I REALLY REALLLLY fucking hate doctors. They are so fucking useless and arrogant cunts even when they're rarely not useless.
With MS you have to be your own doctor.
Sometimes I occasionally go to a specialist or certain kind of naturopathic doctor for a single issue consult or to get an opinion from an "expert" but I pretty much treat them exclusively as MY STAFF who I should expect to be wrong about everything they told me and I vet the information I get from them very carefully by finding another expert with an opposite opinion before taking ANY of their advice.
