Ivermectin for dogs

The vet usually prescribes Heartguard which is ivermectin but they charge a fortune. Can I dose my own dog with my ivermectin? Wondering if any of you pedes can help

No. Apparently fatal for dogs. I read that somewhere

Read more. It is dangerous for dogs with a certian gene, such as collies. A perfect example of why medical professionals are helpful in prescribing drugs.

If doctors weren't so brainwashed, we wouldn't be up against these risks.

As it stands, anyone who thinks to take an off-label drug, or administer to a pet, should read the scientific literature and MSDS. There is a ton of information to be had.
