The 'swathe of his admin' as you put it is what actually led to Boris's resignation, they finally had enough of his lies! Some of us had had enough months ago.
The 56 who resigned over a 36 hour period did so to show their lack of trust in Boris - they did not resign along side Boris - many needed to go but that's another matter.
lets see if his replacement is any better

Well there is a rumor that the white hats are removing corrupt governments. The cabal can't keep funding their muppets when they lost their funding mechanisms such as deep state controlled Ukraine, and more. The evidence abounds that this is a dismantling of the globohomogenized world government for the elites alone. That explains the desperation move to seize property in the Netherlands by a corrupt mafia of elitists. It will also fail, and it has succeeded in waking up the polite, well-mannered Europeans. Suddenly the Dutch are deplorable like J6 or more.
He didn't resign....he said he would step down when a replacement leader is found.....
As usual he's playing with words. He has resigned as Leader of the Party. It was either that or being ejected by a vote of no confidence and being ejected. Jumped before being pushed!!
He has resigned as the leader of the conservatives but not as PM. They need a leader to elect another PM but that will take 6 months so Boris will stay on as a caretaker PM.
It wont take 6 months! That's just BJs wet dream. Think of it in the frame of US elections, they happen in November but mid January before they take up posts.
There is quite an opposition to him remaining as caretaker!
