The modern world has corrupted the Biblical concept of love to our detriment. Self-sacrificially seeking others' good is more the original meaning. Sometimes that means healing the sick and other times it means a show of force to wake up those whose hearts are hardened against God. The case of the temple cleansing involved a direct affront to God's holy place so righteous indignation was called for to remove the offenders (twice). On the other hand, some characterize this as a loss of control on Jesus's part and I do not think that was true.
