I'll be honest with my opinion about a few things. The ridiculous 'food safety' standards in other countries along with the bacteria / germ scare that happened with it always felt overly excessive and hearing about all these allergies to things like nuts or some type of food just sounds silly to me. It makes me think these people are so frail that the wind would knock them over dead or they are being severely misdiagnosed.
I live in Asia where there are slabs of raw meat out in the open market that you buy and eat. When people are poor, they can't be picky about their meals. Food is left on the table for 8+ hours and not rushed to the fridge within a 2 hour limit. Fermented food is a thing yet in some countries, people freak out over bacteria spreading from raw chicken washed in a sink.
Just makes me think some areas are just poisoned more than others or the propaganda and scare tactics is just tuned up to 11. It all looks and sounds silly from an outsider's perspective.
BPS has been found to interfere with mammalian hormonal activity.
To a greater extent than BPA, BPS alters nerve cell creation in the zebrafish hypothalamus and causes behavioral hyperactivity in exposed zebrafish larvae (Molina-Molina et al., 2013; Kinch et al., 2015).
These latter results were observed at the extremely low chemical concentrations of 0.0068uM.
This is 1,000-fold lower than the official U.S. levels of acceptable human exposure.
The dose was chosen by the researchers since it is the concentration of BPA in the river that passes their laboratory.
Studies show micro doses of certain plastics cause cancer or other conditions while big doses have no or a lesser effects
EPA admits this on certain chemicals

Studies also have shown that chronic exposure to low doses of certain POPs can result in reproductive and immune system deficits. Exposure to high levels of certain POPs chemicals - higher than normally encountered by humans and wildlife - can cause serious damage or death.
