Have a parent on fixed income that uses insulin daily. Due to the inflation and the increase in the cost of insulin, he’s having a harder and harder time affording it. $357 per month for just the insulin at Walmart when it used to be nearly free under trump. Anyone have any ideas on what he can do or where he could look to get a better price? I know this isn’t the typical type of post on this site, but I love him and want to help- and you guys are the smartest ppl I know

Humalog $35 a vial in Mexico. Tresiba $30 per 100 unit pen. If you're close to a border, well worth the trip, if not, buying a plane ticket for a vacation and prescription run is worth it.
Yeah, my parents could use a vacation for sure. You know how people were buying IVM online from india… I wonder if he could do the same thing for insulin?
Probably not, temperature fluctuations destroy the quick acting insulin.
Good point
