Once the protest is over, the same group of people will form a caravan to the southern border of the US for immediate access to the country. Also included is universal basic income, free healthcare, a one-way ticket to the city of their choice, voting rights and free education for their children in their native language.
I am from Panama, and no, these people won't walk to your border and enter your country. Down here we love our country and have no real reason for leaving. We use the dollar and even though some things are more expensive now, we have other stuff that is cheap, like renting (you can find a good place to live for $450 a month), electricity (I pay less than $10 a month, while people who use A/C's pay about $100), water (I pay $16 a month), food (we can find restaurants that charge less than $5 for a full meal), etc. So, no, we have no need to move to your country where we would have a really tough time, and life is, for the most part, shit.
Good to know. love&light
