This is our third in two weeks. Last time was two weeks ago and we were told power would be restored within four hours. It was two days later before we got power back on. Got a message from Duke Energy that it would be 7:00 pm tonight before power was restored. I keep praying that this is “go time”

When I saw Duke energy, I thought either North or South Carolina. I used to live in SC. And, yes that is unusual. Stay cool. Glad ya'll are prepared.
Was just in western nc. Dealt with it in the area we stayed in. Kept getting calls from Duke, .aintenanve for failed parts was the message.
Without doxxing yourself what part of the country?
Don’t mind. Western part of North Carolina. Foothills. This is very unusual for it to be happening so often and so close together
