I think my friend, who is a big conservative, planted the seed about 15 years ago. I remember having a conversation with him and I was telling him that Fox was right wing, msnbc was left wing, and cnn was right down the middle. And he just looked at me with a little smirk and said “Eh I don’t think so man”. I respected this guy at the time and it made me think. Shortly after, I went down a 9/11 rabbit hole. Fast forward 15 years, 1 spiritual awakening, and a few break downs, and I’m way more “awake” than he is. This is not a left vs. right war. I do believe conservatism is the way in that regard, but you need to understand that everything you’ve ever known or believed is a lie. You need to accept that and understand it in your heart. Then go from there. These people are sick.
