An anon just asked (I guess not having read entire thread) how I got the Antichrist being a system and not a man from Daniel 11. To sum it up and make it easily spoonfed, though I thought it was clearly suggested, in the time of Daniel, there was no such thing as "a system". Instead there were empires and kingdoms. The defining trait of both is a single man ruled at very top of each.
As corporations arose in the 18th and 19th centuries, satan taught man that greater more widespread (and more secret, occult, hidden) authority can be gained by ruling by means of a system. This is when the concept of a governing system arose. Most notably you will notice in the US, UK, Germany, AUS and Canada. We refer today to the fed as "the system". While assassinating a lone king or poisoning an emperor you can end a kingdom or an empire, one such act cannot end a system. In a manner this is DEVIOUSLY cunning. You remove the man but the body and legs continue marching on.
Corporation: (n.), from Ancient Latin for corpus, or body.
Daniel and John saw what they saw. A lot of what they saw they could not define. The Holy Spirit assisted them in translating what they saw into disguised, symbolic terms in order to conceal their truth from participants in that arising future System because believe me had it not, the Bible and Book of Daniel would have been removed decades ago, and subversion and watering down, complete distortions, like most if not all non-KJV Bibles, would have taken place and you and I would not be reading this now, we would be completely deceived. Praise Jesus it did not happen. But the idea was to protect this truth by somewhat veiling it in symbolism in order to be pierced and solved.
Daniel saw a gigantic system ruling the world. No "system" at that time existed so it came across to him perhaps as an empire ruled by a male emperor: thus "he". Notice how he, it and they interchange continually in Daniel 11. This is likely partly intentional is my proposition here. But the idea was to get across that SOMETHING in the future with the disproportionate power of an out of control kingdom or empire would be doing all these totalitarian homosexual and transgender things, and that the rise of this kingdom or empire would signal The Last Days.
My suggestion is it was a system, not an empire or kingdom ruled by a single man, and that Daniel saw it, and not only that but its unique habit of pestering about pronouns, and he knew mischievously that only the generation alive to live his prophecy would recognize this because they were in and under that specific Beast System, and thus he possibly inserted as a gift to that (thus our) generation a vague, again mischievous, hint, to "hey people, try the pronoun trick you are all witnessing with my prophecy. What suddenly appears?"
That's all I'm saying. Simple as that, nothing more.
I believe the anti christ is a single entity who has bought the system you talk about into being. As for pronouns, what language was spoken by Daniel?
It's one man...666 is his number. He sets up the system.
There is also a description of him as "The Assyrian".
Zechariah 11
[References the Thirty Pieces of Silver that Judas received in (Matthew 27:3–10).]
10Next I took my staff called Favor and cut it in two,b revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations. 11It was revoked on that day, and so the afflicted of the flock who were watching me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
12Then I told them, “If it seems right to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them.” So they weighed out my wages, thirty pieces of silver.
13And the LORD said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—this magnificent price at which they valued me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
14Then I cut in two my second staff called Union, breaking the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15And the LORD said to me: “Take up once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd. 16For behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will neither care for the lost, nor seek the young, nor heal the broken, nor sustain the healthy, but he will devour the flesh of the choice sheep and tear off their hooves.
17Woe to the worthless shepherd,
who deserts the flock!
May a sword strike his arm
and his right eye!
May his arm be completely withered
and his right eye utterly blinded!”
