WTF Looks like 30 fires in 2022 alone. Nothing suspicious here. just a normal day at the grocery store.
We are seeing brands on the shelf that we have never seen prior. Friends are noticing the same. Ferris Nuts comes to mind. Not sure if these were previously fledgling companies, now picking up due to lack of flow from other companies or what.
I didn’t explore all of Costco on my last visit but my trip down the condiment aisle was very interesting. They had two different brands of organic green olives and another kind of organic olive. They had organic pickled beets even. I have never seen so many organics in there like that. I didn’t pay that much attention to all the rest but I believe there were more organic products. It made me think they had a shortage of their normal items and had to hunt down something to fill those shelves out.
Several months ago they had all kinds of keto products all of a sudden. That made me think the same thing.
I have seen it has been a struggle at times for them to keep their inventory up. Their frozen vegetables have really been highly unreliable. Last I saw they had almost none but had these mixes of rice and such with a little vegetables in them to fill up the department.
We are not Costco shoppers, so that is interesting to hear. I'm not sure what to make of it. I was recently diagnosed as Celiac (at 60?). Trust me, I know it was gluten, my symptom are obvious as crap, even to the causal observer. Part of me wonders if the White Hats aren't tearing down plants pumping out shit processed foods. Maybe we are witnessing the emergence of better and healthier foods. Or maybe I'm just wishing that would be true!! :-)
