"The next point I wish to consider is the process by which the world shall pass away. Of that first world we read, “The world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: but the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire” (II Pet. 3:6-7). The fact that the water which destroyed that first world was literal leads some to believe that the fire which shall destroy this present world must also be literal — but this by no means follows. The temple of God once was of literal stones, but that does not set aside the fact that the body of Christ, which is now the true temple, is built up a spiritual building, a holy temple, not made with hands. Noah’s ark was literal too, but it typified Christ who is now our hiding place and the mighty resurrection power of Him who will save the sons of God from the loss of this perishing world and which, through them, shall replenish and renew humanity. Almost all things under the old covenant were outward, natural, and literal; almost all things under the new covenant are inward, spiritual, and supernatural! Think of it!"
Much more in the link.........this one is outstanding:
Another thought on this...
In Noah's day, the evils of the world were destroyed by the waters of a massive flood.
In our day, the evils of the world will be destroyed by the waters of a massive flood of information that will reveal the truth and bring light to the world.
Awesome!
Just a reminder to all:
Water is comms for "information."
Very cool.
I like God's plan much better, a restored Earth, much like the garden of Eden. Eat freely of the trees and go forth and re re replenish. A new Heaven in which all the sons of God will have access to.
Much better than floating around on some silly cloud.
"And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful” (Rev. 21:5). Not all new things, but all things — NEW!
Thrust your hand into My side
"And yet, what the apostle John calls “the world” still exists! One world passes, another world emerges. That’s the way it is with the world! Our society today, in whatever land you dwell, is “the world.” With utmost solemnity the beloved John exhorts, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world; if any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever” (I Jn. 2:15-17)."
Ezekiel 47 KJV 8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
Jerusalem, capital of the new Earth.
New Jerusalem is you, the city of God! The contrasting city is Babylon, the flesh, the world that is being destroyed, first in us, and then completely when God is all in all.
Do you believe in angels? And if so can they manifest themselves in the flesh?
I believe in the kingdom of Heaven Andy, I believe the king of Heaven is Jesus Christ and He sits on the throne in our hearts, I believe in kings and priests of God who herald the Gospel, I believe in angles who give the message of the truth of Jesus Christ, and those messengers speak for the Lamb, we can miss the message so we should stay diligent to watch for Christ speaking in all the earth! I believe in victory after victory until we are all brought into the fullness of the knowledge of Christ. It's the kingdom of Heaven.
I believe Michael the Archeangel is Jesus Christ.
"For the fire that shall bring total ruin to this present system of things shall bring perfection and glory to the Lord’s anointed people! The VERY SAME FIRE!"
Did You know Jack and the beanstalk is one of satan's types of Jacob's ladder? Think about that one's long and hard before you answer.
"there have been many “worlds” and each and every one of them has been destroyed. There was the exceeding wicked Antediluvian world. Then there was the Patriarchal world. There was the Babylonian world, the Medo-Persian world, the Grecian world, the Roman world, the Medieval world, and many other worlds of lesser duration and glory. They are all gone. They have each in turn “gone into perdition — destruction.” Even their languages, for the most part, have perished from the earth. Their culture has disappeared. Their gods and goddesses have no thrones today. Their temples and their altars lie in ruins. Their religious ceremonies and sacrifices and priestly ministrations have all been silenced. The scripture has come true which long ago was spoken by Jeremiah. “The gods which have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens” (Jer. 10:11). Where now are the gods worshipped by our European ancestors? Where are Wodin and Thor and other Nordic deities who even gave their names to the days of the week still observed by the Western world? Where is the worship of the host of heaven — sun, moon, and stars?"
Okay, so anyway, the analogy to Jack and the beanstalk is that it is a fairy tale much like what Preston Eby has published.
The kingdom of God is not a fairytale Andy, it the Christians reality, it's where we dwell, it is the view from which we look at the world system, that shall be destroyed, in us first, and the completely and utterly. Praise God!
Wait a minute here, the other day you said we couldn't sin because we were spirits, now today, the sinful system has to be removed from us. Which is it?
There will be a day when there will no longer be sin.......it ain't yet, for now we battle.
We are not sinners, don't call yourself a sinner, you're a son of God, a holy one, a saint, because we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John is an excellent study on this..........you see we repent of sin, whenever it is seen in us, that's why we're not sinners, we overcome sin by the Spirit of Christ in us..........daily brother.
I am a sinner in need of redemption by the blood of Jesus Christ. As of now, in this world, we only have a promise
Acts 2:39 KJV For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
To sin is to miss the mark of perfection, it is an archery term for hitting the bullseye.
We are always striving for the perfect will of God, we are not sinners, we win as Christ enables us. Quit calling yourself a sinner Andy.
You need to check your doctrine, where does it come from? The devil happily calls you a sinner, and is happy when you do the same. Put on the full Armor of God Andy, the breastplate of righteousness is not worn by sinners.
Sin may be in you, that doesn't make you a sinner.
You ever notice that Jesus never condemned anyone, except the religious leaders? Are you a religious leader?
"The beast is not just one thing. The beast takes various forms. It was, and is not. It vanishes, but then reemerges. It sinks to the lowest depths of the unseen, the very abyss, the bottomless pit, only to clamber out once more."
"Whether it appears as a sinner or a saint, as a pagan beast or a Christian beast, as the flesh nature within an individual or the carnal life of a church system — it is still the same beast!"
I can just imagine the invocation for his services, "let us inhale."
"come on baby light my fire"
: )
LOL. He is long winded, each essay is a months work, or so I perceive is the way he did it. Take your time.
"Our deliverance is found through battle after battle as we gain one victory after another. That’s what the whole series of events in the Revelation is all about!"
