I deal in AG I see where you're going not the case here in SW Idaho, yeah there are a few corporate farms. Mostly family farms with hired men. Farming requires more acreage than it used to. Many of the old small farms lease out to the bigger farms now. I want to say 1000 acres minimum to make it work now days, most guys are in the 2000-3000 acre range now, parcels scattered everywhere.
Good info!
Sure thing BTW the two corporate farms I deal with are an absolute shit show. On a side note in these parts many of the Ranches have been slowly gobbled up by corporations/investment companies though. Some of those also serve as hunting retreats for rich people.
Good to know, we do not need corporate farms.
