context: solar flare scaling: A (smallest), B, C, M, X (largest).

each letter is accompanied by a number from 1-9 (A9 is 9 times as powerful as A1)

operates in powers of ten (C1 is ten times as strong as B1 and 100 times as strong as A1)

M1 class flare(most recent was M1.1); not great, not terrible(pun intended).

Highest Solar flare intensity of 2022 thus far: X2.2 (22 times as powerful as an M1) took place April 20th, 2022.

Sky is not falling, carry on, wear sunscreen(joke).
