Yes, clown world. Those plastics shed right into your food too. I doubt they are all BPA free.
Yes, welcome to Clown Green World.
...mind control
As a Swiss living in the US for the first time, I was honestly shocked at how inefficient you guys are with your grocery bags. Small plastic bags with 2-3 items in it, each one is bagged up for you....at the end you have like 20 little bags. Here, we bag our groceries ourselves and we use either big plastic or big paper bags / cloth bags. Most people bring their own bags (they may have special freezer bags, an extra large plastic one from Ikea etc). So on one hand you're correct that there's plastic everywhere else but on the other hand, you could do a better job of reusing old bags / being more efficient.
Large bags tend to be heavy. I don't want large bags. Paper & cloth bags suck when there's rain. I reuse all the "little" plastic bags; many also do that.
As long as you reuse them, that's cool. It just seems like a lot of waste vs reusing bags, that was my general impression.
Plastic bags are immensely useful. I would have no quarrel if they were made from, say, hemp, and were as useful. That is not the case. The idiot/corrupt greenies want to use their magic wands to get rid of everything they don't like but have no viable replacements. THAT, I greatly object to. Aside from that, when you consider the vast amount of plastic waste due to the scamdemic and none of them even bat an eye at that--I call utter bullshit on all of it.
Don't think that these fools aren't interested in removing those plastic wrappings. Until we destroy their power, they'll just keep on destroying everything in their paths.
