Hello patriots I need some help uncovering the truth. This post is about the embargo imposed on the Cuban dictatorship and how they are bypassing it. This beer Company out of California is selling imported beer that appears to be the Cuban beer Cristal under the new name Palma. Same logo, same everything, the only thing that changes is the name of the beer itself.
here is a link https://cervezapalma.com/about-palma%C2%AE
The company claims to be privately owned by a family, I suspect the Cuban gov is simply bypassing the embargo or some sort of agreement has been made with the state of California for this operation. The beer is mainly sold in south Florida, with lots of Cubans there. However, the beer is also sold in southern California and is based out of California. Is California in violation of the embargo imposed on Cuba? That's why I need your help. To find out, if they are doing this what else are they doing illegally? this link mentions the beer is made in Nicaragua,

however, the Nicaragua beer company does not have it listed as a product. So it cant be Nicaraguan.
Link https://www.ccn.com.ni/productos/
It shows what their imported beers are as well as their own made products. Palma beer is not listed.
The Cuban media has told the Cuban citizens that the beer is another attempt by the US Gov to steal profits from the island. This is a cover story so they can keep telling the citizens that the reason they are starving is because of the embargo and all attempts made by the US. This is clearly not accurate as the Cuban Gov is allowed to buy food in the united states in order to feed its population, these products are bought cheaply and then resold to the Cuban population at inflated prices. Why is this a big deal? Because we could potentially have a situation where the California Gov and the Cuban Gov are actively collaborating against the embargo placed on the Cuban communist regime, due to human rights abuses and violation of international law.
In 2003 it was attempted to be trademarked for sale in the U.S by a ghost company, Three palms holdings LLC out of Florida, most likely operated by the Cuban gov., and again in 2015 by the Canadian company Cerbuco Brewing Inc out of Toronto Canada, that was helping the Cuban gov get the trademark so they could sell it on U.S soil. Finally, the trademark was granted in 2019 to the current Soltura LLC dba Bucanero USA. with the same logo, all the same design, and the claim that the beer is Cuban beer.
I could really use some of your help finding financial records, to see if the money is going to the Cuban dictatorship, or if it is being laundered some other way.
Are you sure you are spelling Crystal right?

And did you even try a basic search?

I have some bad news for you it would seem. It's been five hours, and you got no replies of value. There are no autists on in this forum anymore.

Did you skim the article??? Did you not see the part where the trademark went into default, and was registered by a different company?
And why would you illegally bypass an embargo, when you can sell off your assets, to legally bypass it?
yes, I am from there after all. I know it well.
the trademark default you are speaking of is the Canadian company that tried to trademark it on behalf of the communist regime. The company had 90 days to show the court proof but they took no action and the trademark went to Soltura LLC dba Bucanero USA. which is the current fake company that is being used to sell the product and bypass the embargo. Trust me I wouldn't be wasting my time if I didn't dig deep and hard about this topic.
But if you have the name. You don't need to bypass an embargo. Similar to Fanta cola during WWII. But opposite, as here, we are taking the trademark and name out of country, where as then they changed the name. The ingredients are cheaper elsewhere, so that's where you would produce. And then, you sell to the Cuban American consumer, using brand recognition.
The original Trademarked Cristal is not allowed for sale by the Cuban regime in the united states. That trademark just like Bacardi was stolen from the legal owners. They used the same logo, and even the beer claims to be the same preferred by Cubans in Cuba, however, the Cuban government is the one claiming that the USA trademarked Palma is made in Nicaragua. The Nicaragua beer factory does not have it on its list as produced or imported beer. This is a fake company set up by the communist on US soil to bypass the embargo.
List of Imports or Exports? In addition, it may be bottled there, but that does not make it theirs. Similarly, Dr. Pepper, is bottled by both Coco-Cola and Pepsi Co, depending on which side of America you live on. Dr. Pepper is an independent company that lacks bottling facilities. Or at least it was, some 20 years ago.
it is spelled cristal and not crystal. that was my error. regardless I have provided links to both the Cuban sold version in the island cristal, and the exported Palma version, as well as bucanero beer made in the same factory.
I think you should reread the article you posted. As the trademark was abandoned, and register by another company 3 years later. And taste tests, first paragraph, prove it to be a different beer, with a different flavor.
I think they are simply banking on a recognizable name that they adopted.
Sure you can bounce a high price box of Cuban cigars off a South American country, but a low profit 6 pack of beer, is a bit out of the Question, especially if you own the name, and can import it from a country that isn't suffering supply chain issues.
if that was the case why is the company registered to show a address that takes you to a shit shack house? Also, the address listed on the official website leads to no place at all when entered in google maps. The most recent trademark is 2019 as the official site, and the records site that I posted also shows. ;)
FYI: Zillow shows that property listed at $1,677,700. Which is right around the price range for a home owned by a former C.E.O. So, that is most likely the adress for the former companies assets.

You do not wish to go house shopping in that neighborhood. Because that was one of the cheaper houses.
Usually it's tax havens. And other times, it's the default holdings location of a bankrupt LLC or company, as I have often looked up old business in my city, to find the new addresses for restaurants being homes.
