The fucked up thing is that only about 15 years ago I had a friend who wanted an elective hysterectomy because she was never married, didnt want kids and had family history of ovarian cancer.
Doctors put her thru the WRINGER because she was "only 27 and might change her miiiind" and all this other BS. she finally got it but it was a huge struggle.
Sounds like now they're giving them away for the asking if you claim a "gender identity."
