It is a child’s attitude to expect everything to be provided for free. That is all they’ve known. They even find their way to envy naturally when one sibling gets more toys or favors.

Does your child have the Right to take off anytime they want or do anything they want at any age regardless of what his or her parents say? If RIGHTS superseded Responsibility, there would be no rules or laws.. Gods Rights Come From God yes, but the responsibilities of teaching our children the truths and values that are mandatory to keep those rights fall on the shoulders of the parents.. hence the “rights versus privileges “ verbage used in the heading… easiest way to say it without getting in a tailspin over semantics !!
