I remember getting berated for not doing the wave at a baseball game… am I fuck all crazy in thinking “the wave” is a form of mind control?

I think it's just a fun thing to do while waiting for the game to start. But if someone doesn't want to, why should anyone else care? These people are the problem-bullies.
