I really don't fear anything anymore. When I was a firefighter, one fear I had is that there is a point when you're fighting a fire where if you take the wrong course of action, the fire begins to control you. One thing about these times is that fear has been replaced with a sense of uncertainty, not in the plan, but how I am going to react to those who have been deliberately ignorant because they can't put down their fucking phones. The anger level is palpable. Many people who don't or won't open their eyes are beginning to disgust me to a level that does not allow sympathy or compassion. Combine that with a level of fury when I think about all the lies that have been told to us. I have outlets to assuage this anger and am not going to go out and do something stupid, but I'll tell you what, part of me is going to gloat like a son of a bitch when these people get their just due.
