If you research there are a number of "evangelists" who use frequent "personal visits" to heaven to mesmerize followers and to deceive the elect. While fleecing the flock to enrich himself, Oral Roberts claimed multiple visits as did/does Kenneth Copeland.
Be careful. He is right about the church having sheathed the Sword of the Spirit, but a "visit" with Jesus is an unnecessary embellishment of an obvious and terrible truth.
The other thing the church has done is the abandonment of one-on-one personal evangelism. It is important to be salt, but we are encouraged to be bold as a lion but as harmless as doves and pouring out the salt gives flavor and protection. See also, The Many Properties of Salt.

"Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to deliver you," declares the LORD.
Then the LORD stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me, "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
2 Timothy 4:1-4
I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths.
