It’s bigger than you’re (collectively) giving credit for. It ties directly into our “Parent Party” paradigm. For us perhaps it comes as no surprise that a Democrat would seek to extirpate any remaining shred of patriotism from public schools, but normies might consider such assertions questionable. Having her clearly articulate such intentions further alienates her from some uninformed voters who doubtless have long assumed Democrat means the “compassionate” party who “care” about children. This will wake up a few suburban moms, and they’ll discuss it among their circles.
