Yes. That is normal. Hurricane Party! Buy booze and water and ride it out in style. The best parties are hurricane parties. Play some Jimmy Buffett. Hope your not in a mobile home or live on a boat. I used to surf the off shore tropical storms in my 20s on the gulf coast. It's amazing I made it to my 40s.
