Would love to hear your experience if you have done either, or even both, and why you chose to go the route you did (either starting a completely new one from scratch or maybe starting up a local chapter of an already formed group).

Currently in the beginning stages (myself and others) are looking into one group and the requirements to create a local branch and trying to decide if it is the best option or is the headache worth it all to form a very new local group that we would have more control over and not have to worry about requirements from the main chapter (not that they are tough requirements to meet by any means...)

Just looking for feedback from those who have done this already or in the process of doing so. *Our group will be focusing on education based concerns.
