If one branch is compromised then the checks and balances inherent in the constitution can be used to override the corrupt branch.
If two (or all) the branches are compromised the final recourse is article five. Two thirds of the states could call for a convention and ratify constitutional amendments with agreement of three fourths of the states.
The next recourse is an attempt at peaceful secession and the abandonment of the US Constitution.
