I was banned on a chat in telegram this morning. I said I agreed with someone about leaving it. My reasons are that I believe trolls are getting my phone number from it as well as having people whom I don’t know adding me to groups and sending me messages. The uptick in spam phone calls increased to ridiculous numbers a months ago. I think it is that app. I deleted a bunch of channels and people to see if it would help. I do get a lot of news out of it though.
