I remember years ago there was a huge outcry (and rightfully so) of women in Islamic African countries performing forced female castration. The Muslims were doing this so women couldn't enjoy sex. Fast forward to today and all a sudden ots ok to do this to children. There's a special place in hell for anyone that would do this to kids!
This isn't Christianity, it's just Catholicism. Why would someone who has castrated themselves be barred from ministry? What promotion are they even talking about? There is no Biblical basis for "promotion" in ministry... It's just mind-boggling how they just pull nonsense out of their rears. If someone castrated themselves, they can still be used by God to further His kingdom. They can still serve people, feed the hungry, clothe the cold, and encourage the downtrodden. It's just nonsense...
Uh... scuse me.... but the catholic church made boys into eunichs to keep their voices high for the boy's choir and now days they look the other way while it still goes on.

They still are mutilating females in this way. It did not end.

That didn't keep the Catholic church from castrating young boys so they'd have sopranos in their choirs in the 1500s and 1600s.

Do we really need others people to tell us this is wrong?
