Nah I don't get them often enough or severely enough to take anything.
Oddly having a couple strokes really lessened the pain and incapacitation. I don't recommend it but it worked for me. They used to lay me out with vomiting and pain etc for 1-2 days.
Now I continue about my life and just sort of deal. Very little pain, mostly aura for a bit and some limited brain fog
I'm sorry to hear about the strokes, but I'm glad there was at least one positive thing that came from them.
Do they have you on post-stroke care like blood thinners? I'd be willing to bet that that's what's helping the migraines. Aspirin (Blood thinner), caffeine (blood flow), anti-inflammatory, and copious amounts of B12 are my current regimen.
Dude, migraines suuuuuck. I'm sorry you have to deal with them. Are you on any preventative treatments?
