When God is on our side who can doom against us?
Anyone not excited about the prospect of the tribulation or un-neccesary suffering that isn't even part of that end times. Sure, God wins in the end, but realistically this isn't the end, so there's no biblical necessity for this current suffering.
I can pick up what you are laying down, but suffering is a necessity, since the days of Adam. It produces those who overcome, and often separates the wheat from the chaff. The book of Job comes to mind as an example
