I gotta say; of all the online communities I have participated in over the years, this is one of the most stable in terms of tone. Even when the chips are down for 'our side'. And I don't like to get into the whole "we are the bestest place ever!" but I was thinking what makes this different? And I think it is the requests for prayers. When my fellow pedes ask, I find myself taking the time to do so and, I just feel a connection. Not just to y'all, but to the Man Upstairs. It is hard to explain. But it is 💕
This. Great comment, frog. This place is what PW could be if they clamped down on the low effort, low info BS. That's wha mods typically attack =especially from accounts that have anemic post histories). It really makes a difference and it really clears the way for high info researchers and decoders to get their thoughts heard and seen by more people. Q said, "mBe the autists we know you are", so that's why those folks are KING around here. It's one of the only places on the internet that actively encourages that higher quality discussion, and it really shows in times when the chips are down.
