That’s been a sticking point for me for almost two years now. (USN vet, 20 years) Having Trump put back in via military stepping is almost third world country stuff and would really tear apart the country.

I disagree, if you take over the MSM ministry of smoke and mirrors at the same time only the small minority of elitists and brainwashed leftist progressives would need to find their "safe space" the other two thirds of us or more would still go to work the next and over have of that number would be rejoicing in the streets.
