Actually this occurred in 2009 with a total of 44 arrests, maybe 17 were rabbis. I can’t find on a quick search if they were ever convicted. Probably not. They probably bought off a corrupt prosecutor and judges because it was New York!

17 were rabbis (#17 yet again). I don’t know if the other 27 were a Jewish, articles didn’t say.
