I’m at a wedding weekend. Wedding Sunday.

The only thing I can think of is

“Why the fuck would these kids spend 40k on a big party and start a marriage in huge debt!”

$40,000 is nothing these days for a wedding. Some women pay more than that for their wedding gown! Consider the percentage of marriages that end in divorce these days. I think it is more the bride who wants the big wedding.
