Convicted
On our way to Saint Louis for my husband’s doctors appointment, we were discussing faith and others’s lack therefore.
I mentioned family members who doubted and cut down everything that God has spoke to me lately and their condescending comments.
My husband suddenly told me it was the way I speak to others that causes them to shut down and tune me out. He told me I get angry and untactful and I need to build on what they say, not tear it down. He told me that when others had mentioned that our country was going down the tube and would continue to until Jesus comes back and there’s nothing we can do about it that it is foretold in the Bible, I should have brought up faith scriptures and how God will uses His people rather than getting angry and frustrated when I am declaring that God will be using His people to turn things around for good and for Him. My husband said “Yes, some good will happen I am sure.” I came back with, “No alot! God has jobs for His people who love and fear and want to serve Him.” He said, “That is why people don’t want to talk to you.”
Right then, God convicted my heart and brought this scripture to my mind. Especially verse 19
James 1 1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings. Trials and Temptations 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. 9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business. 12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. 13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. 16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. Listening and Doing 19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. 22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. 26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Be Bold
In Saint Louis for my husband’s doctors appointments. I specifically read the hospital scamdemic rules when we entered which stated masks were required unless you were under two or had breathing difficulty. Wr have not worn masks since this entire evil, tyrannical stupidity began, but I do have asthma and he has restrictive lung disease due to damage from a surgery for an aortic dissection.
He had a CT done and I was in the waiting room with him and one had said a word about the masks until a security person asked and I stated that I had asthma then I was left alone. I left for the restroom and came back to the waiting room after they had called my husband back. I had earphones in and a security person had followed me to get my attention as I hadn’t heard them talking to me. She asked if I had a mask and I said I couldn’t wear one due to asthma. She stated that that was for patients only and said I needed a mask. I opted to go wait in the hallway.
I at in the hallway listening to a sermon and praying for courage and Binding and rebuking Spirits if Tyranny and Oppression as I have a difficult time with standing up vocally and not wanting to be judged by others. When I try to speak up in front of people, I tend to look for a hole in the floor to crawl in and hide.
Then he had another appointment across the hall to follow up from the CT. No one bothered me in the waiting room until I tried to go back with him to his appointment (which I have always done). They insisted I had to have a mask even after I stated I ha asthma. I was about to take a mask then throw it away when I got back to the doctor’s office when I felt like I was yanked out into the hallway and I said “I am done! I won’t play this ridiculous game!” Then I felt the Holy Spirit tell me “I have not given you a Spirit of fear, I have called you to be bold.”
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
