Me too. It’s weird how book forums are liberal wastelands. I like to visit to get ideas on what to read in the future, but people treat King like a demigod. It’s bizarre. He’s really not that talented. Teens adore him. They have entire bookshelves devoted to him. This is what socialist public schools have produced.
The best thing by King I ever read was a short story called "I'm All You'll Ever Need". It spoiled me for his other writing. I guess I like things to get to the point.
AYEN was profound. And have to say, written by someone who either practices or did their homework about the very subtle base layer of dark magic, not the dramatic attention-getting stuff. Deep layer ju ju control of situations and people that is used because through eons, it has worked. But never a good outcome in the long run!
I liked Stephen King better when he was left in a ditch after being hit by a car.
gee I was just going to say, I think that accident dented more than just his skull.
